Rum punch is one of the oldest known cocktails with written information about it dating back to the 17th century. Shipmen who worked for the British East India Company brought it to Britain where it became a staple party drink made with rum, citrus and spices.
Nowadays, rum is still the most important ingredient with a mixture of fruit juices, but spices are left out. This cocktail is perfect to entertain a crowd. Pour all ingredients in a cocktail bowl, add ice, some fresh fruit and you will feel like you’re on a tropical holiday.
