Cocktail – Long Island Iced tea
A Long Island iced tea is typically made with gin, vodka, tequila, light rum, and triple sec or Cointreau. A dash of lemon juice and a top up with coke gives this cocktail a similar colour to iced tea. Don’t be fooled with the name as it is loaded with alcohol and there is no tea included in this drink.????

The origin of this drink comes from a bartender who worked on Long Island, New York in 1972 and created this drink to enter a contest.
All ingredients are usually poured over ice in a long drink glass, a hurricaine glass, or a fancy high cocktail glass and gently stirred to mix.
If you mix with low sugar drinks, like us, the alcohol will be more noticeable.
