Homemade fresh mint powder
Collect any fresh herbs such as thyme, basil, oregano, rosemary, chives, mint before the plant begins to flower.
Place the fresh mint leaves on a plate.
Program the microwave to medium power. Place the mint in the microwave and cook for 45 seconds.
Then mix the leaves and cook again for 30 seconds. Repeat the 30 seconds cook and check each time until the moisture has completely evaporated from the leaves. The mint needs to be crisp and dry.
Place the dried mint into a grinder and blend to powder. Store the mint powder in a tight container.
