Despite one of its names, the Jerusalem artichoke does not originate from Jerusalem, and it is also not a type of artichoke. These tubulars are the roots from a species of sunflower, native to Central America.

Air Fried Jerusalem Artichoke Chips
- Use a soft brush to wash and clean the Jerusalem artichokes and break them into smaller knobs if necessary. Slice the Jerusalem artichoke into thin slices.
- Bake the slices at 190°C in multiple small batches in the air fryer for perfect crispiness. If needed, coat the slices with a little oil to prevent oxidation.
- Add the fresh rosemary leaves 4-5 minutes before the cooking time is over. Sprinkle some sea salt and serve
