Air Fried Crispy Baby Chicken – The Perfect all-in-one Dish
Chicken is for many a part of their daily diet. We love to give chicken a twist and, this time we are serving it with sweet potatoes and potatoes to make it a filling weeknight dinner. Add an easy tarragon sauce to add extra flavour.
This dish asks for a minimum of effort, because everything is prepared all-in-one in the airfryer!

Baby chicken vs chicken
Baby chicken meat is also called poussin or coquelet in butcher’s terms. This stands for young chickens, less than 28 days old at slaughter and usually weighing 400–450 grams (14–16 oz).

Air fried Crispy Baby Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 pc baby chicken (450 gr)
- 1 tsp hot paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 gr fresh tarragon
- 200 gr sweet potato
- 200 gr potatoes
Instructions
- Check if the chicken is gutted and clean on the inside and fill with some tarragon.
- Cut your potatoes into big chunks and toss in some olive oil, salt, and pepper. Prepare all onto an oven tray.
- Add the the baby chicken and season with salt, pepper, hot paprika and olive oil all over.
- Place everything in the airfryer at 180°C and cook until the skin of the chicken is crispy and the potatoes are cooked.
